Rebecca’s Philosophy

I have been providing care to animals for most of my life! I have always had a cat and, for much of my life, a dog. I know that for many, myself included, our animals are a part of our family.

As the trusted neighborhood babysitter, it was only natural that when the children all grew up I progressed into the neighborhood animal caretaker role. My services, experiences and offerings quickly expanded as I began to accept a more diverse clientele.

I thoroughly enjoy meeting new animals and caring for their needs, all while treating your home and belongings with respect. I am comfortable with and experienced in many diverse and complex methods of administering animal medication.

“Rebecca continues to do great drop in visits. She is punctual, reliable and has even swept up the dog hair a couple times! Highly recommended.”

— Andy G.

“Rebecca was a pleasure to work with! She’s responsive, knowledgeable, and my two cats loved her! I have an elderly cat that requires medications, Rebecca was able to administer them daily and without a hitch! It was nice having peace of mind while being out of state.”

— Lauren M.

What you can expect when you receive my services:

Respect.

For both you and especially your animal. I treat every animal like it is my own and I believe they deserve just as much respect as humans do.

Trust and Discretion.

I know it can be scary to find, meet and hire someone over the internet and invite them into your home to care for your pet. I am conscientious and will take care to leave your home just as you left it while making the animal’s safety and well-being my number one priority during my visit or stay.

Communication.

I will provide you with details of my visit with your animals inclusive of bathroom breaks, whether the animal ate or not, and I always take care to note any odd behaviors or things about your pet that may seem out of the ordinary.

Fantastic Photos!

One of my favorite things about these visits is capturing the unique personality of your fur baby through my phone camera. My goal is to provide you with something frame-worthy!

The Process

Don’t have specific dates or needs in mind but are looking to establish a connection to book on the fly?

Already have a dedicated animal care person but are looking for a backup?

Please feel free to reach out! I love meeting and connecting with new people and their animals, and I make a terrific backup option.

  • After receiving an inquiry for services, I will reach out directly and ask any clarifying questions that will help determine my availability and if you and your animal’s needs are a good fit for the services I offer!

  • After confirmation of availability and services provided, we’ll set up a complimentary 15-30 minute Meet and Greet where I will meet you and your animal(s) in person to ensure a good fit for everyone involved. I’ll learn about your pet’s temperament, people and animal preferences, preferred walking routes if any, special routines, as well as how your animal likes to receive and express affection! We’ll review any other pertinent details to the services being provided and simply get to know one another.

  • If you decide to move forward with my services, I’ll provide confirmation of the dates, services and pricing via your preferred communication method. I’ll continue to confirm services as the date(s) draw near and after each visit you’ll receive a written update and photos of the services provided.

  • Once you become a client you should feel free to reach out to me via email or my personal phone number (provided upon booking) for any other requests for services moving forward - or continue to use this form on the website.
