Rebecca’s Approach to Yoga

Rebecca (Becca) Wolfe has been practicing Yoga for 15 years and completed her 200 Hour Yoga certification in her hometown of Concord, NH. Yoga has remained her steady guide through all of life‘s many ups and downs, and she loves sharing the benefits of a regular yoga practice with others!

Rebecca is also a Childlight certified Children's Yoga Instructor. She has three children of her own and has always enjoyed practicing yoga with them. Becca strongly believes in the power of connecting to our inner child and brings a sense of humor and fun to every class. She is especially excited to be sharing yoga with the children and future leaders of our communities!

A Conscientious Approach to Movement

While taking classes with Becca, she hopes you feel supported on and off the mat, empowered to listen to and honor your body, guided towards self-compassion, and encouraged to live your own authentic practice.

Stay updated on current and future offerings, share resources, and connect with other members of the community inside the private Facebook community.

We hired Rebecca for our preschool classroom and it is FANTASTIC! She is engaged with the children, calming and teaches yoga through play and songs. The children are having such a great time! I highly recommend either her classes at Parks and Rec. or hiring her for your classroom!!

Why Yoga?

Yoga means “Union” and is a philosophy, a practice, and a lifestyle. Yoga is a whole-person practice encompassing breath control, meditation, and ethical principles. The goal is to unite the body and mind and foster inner peace and a connection with ourselves and everything around us. Yoga roots back to ancient India, and was introduced to America in 1893.

There are many different types of yoga “paths” for those seeking personal growth. Yoga is a great practice by itself or as an addition to your other physical activities to diversify your muscle groups. Yoga is what you make it!

Yoga is for Every-Body

Yoga is a continuous practice, and like any physical activity it takes discipline and dedication to build confidence and skill, but any body can do it!

Misconceptions

You do not have to already be fit or flexible to start! Yoga is not just relaxed stretching (but it can be!) and there are different types of yoga for different individual needs and goals.

Benefits

Yoga builds flexibility, mobility, and strength in addition to improving mental health and self confidence.

Like the Moon, we all show up differently every day, cycling through life's ups and downs. Like the Sun, a yoga practice can be a reliable constant, meeting us exactly where we are at.

Whether you’re brand new to yoga or a seasoned yogi, come join me - there’s a place for you.

Rebecca teaches an absolutely terrific welcoming yoga class ! She leads her classes with clarity and humor. I love that she changes her flow and adds fun new postures to challenge you if you’re so inclined but clearly lets you know your practice is your own ! She is upbeat and cheerful all the time ! I really enjoy attending any type of class Rebecca is teaching .”
